Students from Alexander von Humboldt German International School (AvH) and Jewish Herzliah High School attracted media attention while participating in a simulated Nazi War Crime Trial at Palais de Justice in Montreal.

AvH Students played the role of prosecutors and argued passionately and expertly the simulated trial of Rudolf Kasztner, who was posthumously prosecuted for crimes against Humanity allegedly committed by him during the Second World War. AvH’s age mates from the private Jewish School represented the defendant. Students from Miss Edgar's and Miss Cramp's School, an all-girls Montreal school, were acting as the jury. The case was presented in front of judge Honorable Stephen Hamilton of the Superior Court.
